電影《靈魂急轉彎》影評：卡通可能是最有效的電影模式

like how Soul portrays, many people believe that our lives have a great purpose. it can be your career, passion-- your spark. As a result, people are obsessed with finding such perfect fit, that in the end, some forget about the true beauty of living. in Soul, soul number 22 has seen a lot, yet still could not find a spark. despite her effort to act careless, she fears her inability to find such passion, so she refuses to live. likewise, through living a seemingly pitiful life, Joe knows his passion, thus has his purpose. but through his adventure, he realizes that what makes him happy is more than just jazz: it is his mom, his friend, one warm autumn afternoon, even the crowded subway. his haircut friend also found joy other than the "spark" because his job brings him interesting peopel and provide hiis family and him steady income. in the end, the director suggests experiecing and living might just be the sole "purpose" of life. There is no such thing as a specific "spark" that you love at all means, but those small gratefulness that encourage you to embrace your life.

as for a cartoon, it creates a fun iintepretation of afterlife, and for adults, it provide insights and remind them to not lose themselves in obsessions. the characters are also likeable and memorable.

cartoon may be the most effective genre of inspiring and spreading beliefs because its capability to construe pure characters and plot that serve solely to inspire and to generate laughters.
