I have watched the movie this afternoon. It is a story about a couple, who met each other on campus and fell in love at the first sight.
Couple, who fell head over heels in love with each other, was supposed to be blissfully happy, however, their romance came quickly and ended quickly too.They got a six-hour marriage, and ended up in that the wife was frigidity.
Deadly, the wife told her husband that she would be fine and wouldn’t be jealous if he goes out and sleeps with another woman, as long as she knows her husband loves her. The man feel humiliated by all of this, a frigid wife, a six-hour marriage…
He left and came back to his parents’ house. Never see the girl again.
After decades, his shop comes a little girl, asking for Chuck Berry’s disc as her mother ‘s birthday gift. She keeps on saying that her mom only listens to classical music but she does like Chuck Berry because he is bouncy and merry.The man is shocked at that moment and probably becomes sad and pity immediately because the description of Chuck Berry by the girl’s mother is exact what his last wife speaks about Chuck Berry at the day of their marriage at the hotel on Chesil each. It is ridiculous and humiliated that the frigid woman he left has a daughter.
Once a young elegant lady, now has become a worldwide famous violinist. He came to her concert. When the concert finished, she noticed him and they looked at each other. Their eyes filled with tears. So do I.
And that is it. It is so-called life. She has realised her dream that in wigmore hall plays something glorious and beautiful for him. But what about his dream？He just lost the love of his life and dragged through his long lives.
